oh no you cannot pass them up, IF they are fairly priced and do it then,,I did not hesitate and knew others who were looking and let them make me the offer, gone in a flash....some of these came from a "passed" member here on this forum, 'Cherokee', may Dave S., rest in peace he had some NICE stuff..........(y)(y)

Which ever way it would letter would be fine. Then you could put it back to the "as shipped " condition and sold the extra parts.

Here's a sampling

When I search my computer for BKH44 or BKH45, most of the hits I get are of ones that I have sold. I need to start taking more pics of the keepers. The above guns are still here. I guess I never took pics of my BKH44B. It is also embarrassing that I couldn't find a pic of my dad's BKH45 which was the gun that, once inherited, sent me spiraling down into the Ruger collecting abyss.

Oh, I searched a different area on my PC and found some pics of the Stan Terhune #30 gun, which was a single cylinder gun that he sent back to have an ACP cylinder fitted. The lore goes that all the .45 Blackhawks were meant to be convertibles but there was a delay in making ACP cylinders, so the first shipments were single cylinder guns at a reduced cost. By the time the ACP cylinders were ready, Ruger recognized that the single cylinder guns were selling just fine, so he kept them as a lower priced option for folks who didn't care about the ACP.

Looking through my pictures it doesn't appear that I have ever taken a 45 colt "family" picture". And the 45 Colt is my favorite back country carry gun.

The top one has been my back country carry gun for a LOT of years. Bottom two is of my BBQ gun that seldom leaves the gun safe. Scott is so much better of a photographer, so I stole his picture from his Facebook page that shows the beautiful Turnbull case coloring.
