I don't know anybody that would call a Smith revolver junk. I'll take all the junk they don't want.

RUFFBIRD, I have a few of the older S&Ws. Mine Aren't quite a pretty as yours but still lock up tight and shoot like new ones. In fact , one of my more carried guns is a well worn old model 10 I keep stoked with +P LSCWHPS. This is supposed to be a confiscated gun sold off by one of the Northern police depts and bought from a dealer here in Louisville. I've always wondered about it's history :)

No S&W's here and only Taurus here is 'cause it was inherited. Seems the older Taurus stuff was much better than some newer ones. Not a DA revolver person for the most part so I avoid them mostly - aside from a Police Positive IV and wanting a 6" GP100 that is.

The Hawkeye Girls love to dance with my Pinned and Recessed Model 29's........I think they do it to get the batchelor brother RSSE's all kinds of crazy........Especially when the early five screw bunch come out to play. 8)

S/N in the low 1,000 range. Many miles under the seat of a Wyoming ranch truck. Cost me $100 plus I had to add a set of my Old Model lockwork parts.

Yep, junk. This one has traveled to South America and back; from the look of it, I figure it was rode hard and put away wet a few times along the way. Adding insult to injury: at some point, Bubba got a hold of it and did some work on the barrel crown. All that and it still shots better than I can hold it as evidenced by the flier in this photo (that's the first six rounds I fired from it; 10 yds. standing and a I knew I threw the fifth round soon as I touched it off :( )
