I'm looking for the bidders and watchers I lost when eBay pulled down the listing of my "Solid Brass Ruger Bisley Grip Frame", with 3 days left to go.

I have found 3 so far by surfing single action forums, I figure a few guys here were bidders and watchers of my listing.

I have listed that grip frame on Auction Arms, now called "Gun Auction". If you were one of the bidders or watchers, or know someone who was, it can be found there.

The listing starts "Sunday night at 7:30 pm West coast time.

This grip frame should be incorporated into a special build, not just sit in my safe for another decade.

You got another live one...ME! I missed one of the QUALITE brass BISLEY grip frames awhile back and have been kicking myself ever since. This would look great on a blue/cch VAQUERO.

Yea, add a link. It's a real bad time for me but I think one of my 45 Convertable Accusports would look great with a brass Grip frame!

Good deal, James. I was high bidder on your auction when it was closed by EBay. I was not a happy camper.

I have bid on your auction Arms auction as well.

Is the 475 one of John's?

There you are!!

I went searching the internet for you!

Will in Alaska told me to look for you here.

Those jerks running eBay really screwed me up, I had 18 bidders and over 30 watchers on my listing.

So far I have found about a half a dozen.

Those butt sniffing liberal unicorn and rainbow types really get under my skin!

Yes the 475 is one of John Linebaughs and the 44 is one of John Gallaghers.

John is a friend of mine, last time I visited him my daughter was a little girl. His two young boys put her up on a horse and walked her around all over the property.

Now his boys are taller than me and my daughter is 31 years old.

Where did the years go?

John is one of the finest men I have ever met.

I've heard from more than one person that one of his sons can fit grips so well that all you can manage to do is to fall silent and admire his fine work.

Many years since I was up to Cody. I hope I can get up that way before I cash in my chips at the gate.

When I was up there visiting I had the pleasure of firing a couple of John's creations.

A real pleasure, one I'll never forget.

You know at one point, years ago, John was given a huge headache by the city, or the county, whatever.

He actually picked up and moved to Missouri.
We talked, he was miserable, I crossed my fingers that things would work out.

The city, county, whatever, changed their policy about businesses and John moved back to his same piece of property.

Leave it to bureaucrats to throw a monkey wrench into something successful and screw it up.

John son Dustin is not only one of the countries top grip makers but he has turned into one of the top custom revolver guys as well. Several years ago I started what I call a Custom Revolver Quest where I commissioned a custom revolver from each of the the top gunsmiths working now. The last one I am waiting on to get finished is a 500 Linebaugh by Dustin. Take a look at Dustins website www.dustinlinebaugh.com for a look at some of his amazing work.

When I was up there in Cody I met with the city counsel about moving my business up there.

My family and myself were treated "Extremely Well" while we were visiting.

We met with the Mayor, the head of UPS in that region of the US, we were taken on a tour of the firearms museum, a local car dealership gave us a car to use while we were there visiting at no cost.

It was terrific, an experience I'll never forget.

I checked out Dustin's website, "Very Impressive!"

He takes after his Dad.

I really need to get up there and visit, some of my fondest memories are of the visit up that way so many years ago.
