In the mid-70s I bought an S&W Model 29 six-inch barrel .44 magnum revolver in new condition. It was during the "Dirty Harry" days and these fine revolvers sold for inflated prices. I paid a "whopping" $300 for it. In the mid 80's times were hard for us and I regretfully, sold the model 29. The box, with registration form and specs remained behind in my shop. This box is in pretty decent shape with some scratches on the bottom. The "thin felt type" material that covered the styrofoam fell apart over the years, but could be recovered with new material. This is a hard to find great old box and a perfect companion accessory for anyone lucky enough to own a S&W Model 29 .44 Magnum, six-inch revolver. I would like to trade for a pair of Blackhawk XR3-RED, imitation ivory polymer or imitation stag grips with medallions.
