Here's a sweet little Smith, in 32 Long.I

t looks like a nice re-blue of a gun that wasn't shot much. Locks up tight,tmed perfectly. More photos on request.

Looks like a Second Model .32 Hand Ejector Model 1903 with a 3-1/4" barrel...2nd or possibly 3rd change.
Have to see the inscription on top of the barrel, or remove the side plate and look inside to tell for certain.
Nice revolver, and may not be a reblue? As they came with a slightly more subdued finish than the larger frame S&W revolvers did...Plus many were purchased and not carried or heavily used. Just sat in drawers most of the time.

Looks just like the one my grandpa had. It went poof right around the time he died. I still have the pocket holster he had for it.

It looks to me like a .32 Hand Ejector post-war Model of 1953 / New I-Frame) or Model 30 introduced 1957. These evolved from earlier .32 Hand Ejector series 1903, etc.

I didn't notice such details as the ejector rod tip, and serial number, which I originally couldn't read, but enhanced and researched afterwards.
My only excuse is that I'd had a few last night after a long, and particularly unpleasant week...
Anyway, the gun is SOLD. And, the buyer got a fantastic deal on an unusual and rare S&W!
