This gun has the early cut checkering -vs- the presswood. Gun is from the original owners estate, it has been on every deer hunt 1976-2012. It has been packed and enjoyed BUT not shot very much.
Bore is perfect, Action is nice, the Stock has some dings and rubs good honest wear nothing wanky same with the Bluing.
It has Weaver scope mounts on it, no scope.

I wished it were Right hand as it is really neat gun, I would keep it.

Bump for a sweet rifle. I have its right-handed twin brother. It is my go-to rifle for deer, out of many others I own. Wouldn't part with it for any price!

FWIW; upon further inspection, It has the original hard plastic butt plate but at some point in time the white outline piece went.
Chambered in 30/06 it really needs a re-coil pad installed.
