Looking for a stainless GP100 made in 2016. If you have one you would part with message me. Open to barrel lengths, prefer stainless but would consider blued.

Thanks!

What serial number range do these fall in? And what makes one of them special? I have a stainless 4". I don't know the date of manufacture but will dig it out and take a look at the number.

I dont know the exact range but they all seem to start with a 178- prefix. Nothing special about them, I just want to get one for my son, its his birth year, im gonna save it for him until he's ready, Thanks for checking!

You can check manufacture dates here on the ruger website:

2016 started in the upper end of the 177 prefix, then rolled over into 178.

I don't have any 177's and my lowest 178 is in .22 LR at 178-41xxx and it is 2017. Also have a .44 Special from 2017 at 178-47xxx.

And I have 178's in .327 Fed and 10mm.

So I can't help, but if you have a caliber preference, you should probably mention it.

Thanks rugerjunkie for looking into it and thanks weaselmeatgravy for the date ranges. As far as caliber goes, I was hoping for a 357 but i'd consider a 10mm or 44spcl. I'd pass on anything else. Thanks again and merry christmas everyone! :)
