Small rilfe primers for 9mm?

No hard feelings, I hope. I sure don't want to start a feud of any kind. This has been my experience and my opinion on the matter.

I hope everyone takes proper care and does exactly as you advise: read the instructions in a trusted reloading manual and make your own choices about it.

FWIW, Speer 14 states in print to only use small rifle primers in 454 Casull:

Note that we used CCI 400 small rifle primers for these loads. Do not attempt to use pistol primers; they are not appropriate to this cartridge.
