I have a Single Six 22 stainless with 6 1/2" barrel. I'm thinking about getting a Single Six Hunter in 22. I was wondering which you prefer or not much difference.

I understand the Hunter is obviously heavier and how the longer barrel affects the sight radius.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks for your input.

Well, I have several Single-Sixes, and one Hunter. If your current one shoots good for you, I'd say "Why bother?" But, what do I know, I own over 25 of the buggers.
Seriously, I'd say try & get one in your hands to see how it feels before you buy one. Most of them are very enjoyable guns, and compliment other Single-Six guns.

I'm more a fan of the shorter barrels, but it really depends on your sight choice. If you like scoped handguns, the Hunter would be the way to go. If you only use irons, why carry the extra weight of the Hunter?
