Single six hunter front sight removal

Hi all. I have a new single six hunter that I need to remove the front sight to give me the necessary additional scope clearance. Does not appear to be a screw in there but rather a plunger. How do I get the front sight off? Thanks

If there is a plunger all you need to do is push it in and the sight will come right off.

Look in the manuel. If it is a plunger type, it'll be in the manuel how to remove it. But basically, a small punch to push in the plunger and lift out the insert.

Greg, welcome to the Forum and Happy new year...
if you have the 'staninless' version, they are sometimes very "tough" to get out the first time, (burrs, rough, whatever..) but it does and will pop out,,,,, last one we did for a guy have to put the blade in a bench vise ,push the plunger in and still had to "tap" it out.....can you say need 3 hands??? :roll:
