Just bought a used stainless Single Six convertible, 6.5", both cylinders, with bag, but no box or papers (that's ok, I'm a shooter, I can't afford to be a collector). It was marked $299, I walked out the door with it for $260.00.

Nice tight gun, nice fit and finish. 65-prefix, looks like 1975 NO BILLBOARD ON THE BARREL!

I've wanted a Single Six for a while just never had the money when I saw one I liked.

I tried to take a picture but the batteries are dead, and my wife is due home any minute. Maybe I can get a good picture later.

So, how did I do?

Yeah, I know the pics aren't that great, not much experience with stainless.

Want to make a quick forty bucks----I would be happy to stop by tomorrow and take it home with me. :D

Mind sharing where you got it???

You can also PM me if you don't want to share it with all the other PDX Ruger hogs on here.

AJ,

I got it at the Gun Broker in Clackamas. This is a great shop, lots of stock, new and used and they treat you right.

Now if you hurry, before Wayno or Heliman see this and beat you to it, they have a used Single Six Hunter for what I thought was a good price. It has the box, papers, rings and both cylinders. I can't remember the price but I liked the looks of this one so I got it.

Good Luck, If you go by there, tell them the guy with the cowboy hat and big mustache sent you.

How come my name keeps coming up?

Actually, I was over in Mosier today, watching a guy work. 8)

I think DM sneaks around when he know's I'm away, and gets the bargains. And, a bargain this was!

Good score, DM!

WAYNO.
