Single-Six holster for 4-5/8"

Got the gun, then discovered how hard it is to find a decent LEATHER holster for the 4-5/8" barrel - especially if you want something OTHER THAN the typical "cowboy rig." Most of the easily-available holsters are for longer barrels, or are cowboy rigs, or both.

Triple K model 440

sixty bucks

very impressed with the workmanship and fit

two-way belt loop allows strong-side or crossdraw carry

Nice holster. I may have to do the same.

I find this choice available for the Single-Six to be interesting...

Ruger Single Six (not Hunter version) --- 7.5"

I've only "seen" one Single-Six that was not a Hunter that had a 7.5" barrel. That one belongs to Flatgate, and was trimmed from a 9.5" model.

I seem to recall Flatgate claiming that the only Single-Six ever made with the 7.5" barrel is the Hunter. Seems to me he might know a thing or two about Rugers.

Makes a guy wonder who their "target market" is for the 7.5" holster, and how many of them they've actually sold???

I think they special-order each holster from Triple-K.

Like Triple-K makes 'em up as onesies on these folks order.

Took several weeks for them to fill my order.

Everything about the holster is super-fresh.

Maybe they have a special mold/mandrel for the 7.5?

The folks at cowboyneeds.com do answer their email.
Maybe you should ask?
