Single Six Hammer Mod?

Has anyone hear ever done a SBH hammer spur change to a Single Six hammer? I would sure like to see some pictures if you have.

I simply use the Bisley Single-Six hammers.

These are centerfire .32 mags and the only "mods" required is removal of the "Bisley Hump".

I'm thinking about doing that to my OM SS. Does the hump have to be removed for the rimfire models as well?

Whoa! Old Model Single-Six? Nope, ain't gonna work. The only "wide spur" hammers built during the Old Model days were for the large framed centerfires.

Of course, there's ALWAYS a way. I've purchased a New Model Bisley Single-Six hammer and cut off the upper portion and welded it to a OM Single-Six hammer's lower portion. One must NOT interfere with the hammer plunger spring assembly, though.

Looks like I'll have to pick up a NM then if I want that look. Darn the luck... :lol:

But it does leave me with the question, will the hump have to be removed if the NM I get is not a Bisley grip frame?
