Well,,, in general,, it can depend upon the age, as there are a couple of variations of these cylinders. But,,, around $60-$75 seems to be the going rate.

I recently bought one for $65 w/o the box. Fair to both parties in my book.
I do not count the occasional steal of finding 3 Ruger cylinders in a pawn shop for $25 each as normal pricing. (For the record, one was a SS NM 22 Mag, an OM 45 ACP, and an OM 9mm. That was $75 total for 3 mags.)

hey,, I was in a new area, saw a pawn shop,, stopped in,, and there was almost no gun stuff. Yet, as I was about to leave, in a glass case, I saw the cylinders. (2 were boxed.) The price tag was $25 on each one. I didn't try to haggle any, as it was already a good deal.
Fair deals on parts can be found if you are always looking out for such stuff. At a gun show one day,,, stuck in an odd corner of a glass case,,, 2 stainless Ruger grip frames, one Bisley & one plow handle. I bought the pair for $40.00.
You may not need it at the time,,, but know a deal when you see it.

Very good 'Ty', must pay attention and at all times, at ANY given gun show...we too can spot and come away with some real finds , just need the time to LOOK, SEE and pay attention to what is laying around on a table or tucked away in the corner of a glass show case.....and like some folks we know gotta ask the owner, if they have anything "related" laying around or put away out back... 8) :roll: :wink:
