I am just amazed how developed the legs are on these little guys! Of course concealment is their primary defense as newborns, it doesn't take long until their survival requires a need for speed.

Equally impressive is the doe's ability to remain so agile when carrying one - or two - or three - of these little buggers!

The not so agile become food. Therefore the speed/agile genes live on. Nice pic. Thanks for sharing.
