Now I am a little embarrassed and depressed, we went out yesterday and I was trying to zero the sights on three smith's that I had picked up recently a 28-2 4", 27-2 3 1/2" and a 19-3 2 1/2" I could not get the 19 to group and the other two were nothing special. I ran a cylinder of .357 thru his GP and could not believe how smooth and crisp it was and the superb group I shot he has put in a wolf spring kit and it may have had some work done to it prior to him owning it but it was much shorter and smoother than the Smith triggers. I thought for sure the Smith's would be equal to or better shooting than the Ruger. Now these aren't the new Smith's with all of there fit & finish problems these are from the glory days. Have others had a similar experience.

Some of them may surpise you. I oly own on smith, 686 no dash 6", and that trigger is a work of art i think, all factory Its smooth, and breaks like glass. I have a handful of ruger DA. The security six trigger is pretty good and nothin to complain aborut but the nicest trigger i have experienced ona Factory ruger between my guns and a few others ive shot was a . 44 alaskan that i just got rid of... It was an AWESOME trigger, didnt have the super clean smith break but was smooth and still broke very clean and smooth.
