Clever, about how much do you think that you shortened the hammer travel?

Around a 1/2" shorter is all But it helped from getting half cocks

Well your way was a heck of a lot cheaper! The kit shortens the tip of hammer to frame distance at full cock from 1 1/2" to 1". You did the same thing. You must have had to use a longer pawl to get the cyl to rotate far enough to lock up on the cyl latch.

WE usually set the lower part of the pawl short and let inertia lock the cyl up , to keep from over driving cyl. but my hammer stop is worn so it will lock up pulling it back slow. need to replace hammer stop . Mine is not a adjustable one ,was lazy took the easy way
