Sheriff association Ruger

Can anyone shed some light on a Ruger SS, 4", 357, made in 1984 for the Alabama Sheriff association. It comes in a wood box. No model # on gun any info appreciated. JC

Think it was a Security Six made in the late 80's.

Basically,, it was a special done gun model GA-34HT, of which there were about 200 of them made. Since they usually went to LEO personel,, we don't have a lot of info,, but the only reported serial number is; 161-27208. I would assume the serial number of the others will be close to that.
There have been many different "Commemorative" guns done for various LEO agencies.
