Service Six SN Question

I acquired a POLICE SERV SIX that has 200th aniversity markings.When I checked the SN it does not indicate 1976 MFG? 152-235XX
Any help appreciated

It's a 1976 model. The serial number range for 1976 was 151-76xxx to 152-61011 according to the Ruger Reference. If you checked it on the Ruger site, the site is not as accurate as it probably should be, but you have to remember that Ruger does not have a ful time historian
