Serial number 31 guns

Hello, I just had the 357 flattop SN 31 come to my table at the gun show. The gentleman is not quite ready to sell it, but thinks he might be soon. He was wondering if anybody knows who has/had the serial number 31 subscription. Any help would be appreciated, thanks, Mike.

Oh I would say it is around 90%. Used but not abused, not converted, all original. Shows some wear in the usual places and there is no box.

Anyone have an approximate value for this gun?

#31 .357 FT was shipped with the matching #'d .44 FT to Dearden I believe in August 1957. Not sure if that was the first guns in his "subscription" set or not.

How right you are! It's got some issues but that s/n and the fact it's a "Long Frame" has made it a keeper.......
