Seeking replacement ejector rod assembly

I've replaced the factory aluminum ejector rod housing on my Bisley with a blued steel housing, and would like to replace the cheesy plastic thumb piece on the ejector rod housing, which I assume involves replacing the entire ejector rod assembly. I couldn't find anything on the Brownells's website, nor the Ruger website. I'm guessing this might be a common upgrade, and thus a sophmoric question, but I'msomething of a neophyte when it comes to Rugers. TIA

cheesy plastic thumb piece on the ejector rod housing,

Do you mean Ejector Rod Button on the Ejector Rod?

It's not cheese or plastic, It's steel.

You can replace the ER/ERB Assembly with a MK Cresent/Bullseye Button ER. Brownells carries them. Enter Ruger Ejector Rod

Some have said the Ruger New Vaquero Cresent Ejector Rod available thru Ruger Parts will also cross right over and not as much $$.

Me... I just dimple my own like days of old.

Offended ,,, Me ... Nope :D

I was just ribbin you a little.

Not your choice of adjectives, you're just wrong. It's not plastic. It's never been plastic. It's always been steel. Maybe you're confusing it with Heritage???

I like the bullseye design.

Thanks to all for their input and corrections. Having seen the alternatives, which look like operating handles on self loading rifles, I think I may stick to the cheesy looking STEEL factory thumbpiece.

Wow, some folks have nothing nice to say, even when asking for help from strangers. I'll save the expletives that came to mind when I read the last response. I'll bet El Biblio is loads of fun at family gatherings.

Well I wanted to use G2's dimple idea.
Noticed that the top of my stainless ER button was making contact with the bottom of my blued barrel, towards the end of its travel.
Must have an angled slot in the housing.
Now I have sort of a tear drop shaped button, but no contact.
