My coyote problem is getting out of hand. I've been capturing WAY too much activity around the compound, and they're no longer just wandering by... They're hanging out for periods of 10 minutes to an hour or more. Having lost two of our kitties a month or two back, I'm anxious to 'shed some lead' to discourage these critters from hanging out.
I'm in the process of installing some motion detection equipment now that I know where they're coming from and their behavior around the perimeter.
Since these invasions are happening as early as 8:00 p.m. now that the days are shorter combined with the amount of time they're hanging out, I'm wanting to find a reasonably priced night vision scope. A couple dead coyote carcasses may help to discourage the local inhabitants from looking for their dinner at my fence!
Any reviews, advice etc would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Best regards, Pete
