...The only GP's I have ever handled that I like are the tapered/skinny barrel jobs, and they don't seem to be too common. Full lug barrels are useless as a dewclaw on a hound dog's leg for those like myself that carry a revolver over hard days of rough ground instead of just to and from the range. Extra weight for nothing, making a large frame revolver out of a medium frame, killing off the whole purpose IMO of the medium frame gun itself. I really do not understand the attraction to full lugs though they seem to be wildly popular since almost all the companies seem to emphasize them...
