Security six question

I just recently acquired a Ruger Security Six 153prefix and under the grip panel on the left side I saw this S26B. Can anyone tell me what this means?

If this was on the frame it is just a casting number. it doesn't mean anything special (as compared to the annotations on a Ruger SA grip frame).

Here is a picture of what i am refering to. Please ignore the rubber spacer under that hammerspring that is from a previous trigger job someone did and will be removed and replaced with a Wolff Spring

I'm out of town right now so I can't take one (or more) of mine apart to see what they say. I don't think it is anything special, maybe inspector stampings or something like that. When I get home Wednesday night I'll take a look at mine and report back.
