Security Six grip screw

I have a SS with the small factory grips and finally found a set of the larger factory grips to replace them. I need a slightly longer screw for the thicker grips, probably about 1/8" longer than the one for the small grips. Where could I find one? Are screws from different manufactures the same thread and head size?

It should be an 8-36 x 1 1/8 . You can probably find them at www.gunpartscorp.com or possibly at your local hardware store. If you can't get exact length, get a longer on and cut if off to fit.

Maybe a local Fastenal store that specializes in all different shapes and sizes of bolts, screws, etc.
