Saw a 'slightly used' 308 scout rifle today with "40 rounds though it" for $699....

Rings, box, documents included.

Looks NIB.

I'm guessing that's $80-100 less than a brand new one. If that price is worth it to YOU, that's all that matters.

If you want it go for it!

I paid $650 or so for mine, NIB. That was my personal threshold for that rifle. I had many opportunities to pay more for it but just wouldn't. My patience eventually paid off.
