Do rings for a Model 77 interchange with a Number 1? It looks so from pictures but I prefer the experts here. Thanks in advance.

I happen to have a couple of No. 1's and a M77. The answer is "almost".
The M77 requires a lower ring at the chamber than at the other position. The No. 1 uses the same height ring at both locations on the quarter rib.

I appreciate it. Thanks. So 2 sets would net a high set and a low set eh?

The 77 rings are one size different. So a 77 might ship with one low and one medium or one medium and one high.
As mentioned the #1 takes two rings that are the same. Two lows, two mediums etc.
I usually buy a two sets described as Medium for the 77. That give you a set of mediums and a set of lows for your #1.

Yepper. I bought two M77 Leupold rings sets at a gunshow years ago and matched them up to use on No. 1's.
