Saw somthing interesting today

Went to a local pawnshop today ..and saw a SS Ruger No. 1 with a laminate stock on the rack...in 7mm STW..rifle was in excellent condition..asking 800.00 for it a little high I thought ..

never saw one in this caliber before...

Far from an expert, but I understand these are relatively rare. Think it is a good deal if in excellent condition.

Yeah $800 is a pretty good deal in one if it is in good condition. $800 was a good deal even a few years back. I don't recall how many were made but it is uncommon. Being it's at a pawn shop , I'd see how much they'd haggle. You know they dont have much in it.

I sold mine on the inet a few years ago . Unfired, NIB, it sat for months til I lowered the price to @ $650.
