The Springfield Armory XDM-Elite in 45 acp has received excellent reviews. Sportsman's Warehouse had them on sale for under $400. I picked one up and it would not lock the 7 round mags in place. I would lock the 20 rnd., though but they stick out thye bottom and are ungainly.

Contacted SA customer service by e-mail and within 24 hrs, they are sending 2 replacement mags!

I have always had good experiences with SA products. One of my favorite gun brands next to Ruger!
