Not even taking into consideration what a great deal this price is, these guns work well. Very reliable. Worst case scenario is they make a good truck gun, but I have no problem carrying one anywhere because I know they are reliable. Probably one of the best deals on the market.

Good catch BPJ. I took one I bought last summer to the range yesterday for the first time. Flawless and accurate, very good gun and probably the best value out there right now IMO. My son took it home with him because he was impressed with it as well. Again, good catch.

I'm glad there are more people chiming in on how good of a bang you get for your buck with these pistols. I have 2 of them, one is the wife's and sits in our nightstand and the second is mine and I carry it often.

I am a huge Glock fan, so I bought the first one and put it through a function test. When all was said and done, I had fired about 800-1,000 rounds through it without cleaning. That was the weakest 115 grain fmj to 147 grain +p jhp. I even mixed them in the same magazine. There was one common denominator in the end....it always went bang.

The wife shoots it very good as well, so it became her gun. I did update the sights to night sights and put a steel guide rod assembly in both of ours.

I've carried a G19 for the last 10 years or longer, today I switched to the Smith. I shot it well, it fits my hand better and I'm gonna give the G19 a rest for a while. I really like this gun and put several different brands of ammo through without any issues. My example really liked Hornady Critical Defense and Sig 124gr. We put a couple hundred rounds of fmj, all 115 grain through it and probably 40 HP's on day one.
