Ruger Super Redhawk .454 value?

Could anyone hazzard a guess as to a reasonable price someone might have to pay locally (not on Gunbroker) to purchase a like new or excellent condition Ruger Super Redhawk in .454?

Were they only sold in the 9.5" length? I have one of the 10 (10-1/2"?) Super Blackhawks. That is pretty ok to shoot. Don't know how those might compare.

They come in 7.5”, 9.5” and the scarce “Toklat” 5.5”(also the Alaskan 2.5”). The 7.5” ones can be found between $800-900 nowadays.

I just sold a 454 Alaskan at a store through consignment that was in near new condition.

It sold for $799 within 3 days in the western suburbs of Chicagoland.

I likely could have asked for more.

If you check the sold section of GunBroker, they are getting $1200 to $1400 for them.
I just snagged one for a buy it now price of $1000.00

If you find one in good condition for $650 that is a steal IMO. Grab it! Most I see sell for $800-$950.

I always thought those were terribly ugly but I always like the gray finish on those. That revolver is much more practical than a 460 or 500 smith IMO.
