I have a Rifle i bought several yrs ago, on the left side of the receiver it says Ruger 10-22 Rifle, it is Stainless and has a 22" barrel, the Stock is checkered and is the Classic Style, no barrel band, were these a Rifle that was limited to a certain scourse, new it was around $260.00. At that time that was was quite a price for a Ruger 22, it is very accurate, and is a nice looking Rifle, George.

Yep, sounds like the 22" Walmart special. Unfortunately, these were birch stocked and not walnut like the DSP.

Sir,

Its a 22 Sporter.

I have one and it is indeed very accurate and you get about full velocity from your ammo. Mine loves CCI Velocitors the most. They were made for Sportsman's warehouse (Walnut), Walmart (Birch), and Lipsey's which I'm not sure what the stock is made of.

Mine came from Walmart and is walnut, must have been a mix up in the inventory shipment.

Thank you, mine loves CCI ammo, good thing, cause my Wife is Retired from CCI, which is ATK Industries now, she worked there 30 yrs, Vernon had Speers, and Dick Speers had CCI, i really like this Rifle, George. And yes i have lots of CCI 22 ammo, and Speers Bullets, i live about 3 miles from the Plant.
