(New app.100 rounds shot through it) Should the slide on a Ruger SR22 have an play in it? If you hold the frame below the front sight you can push down on the slide a little. Also should the slide have a little play from side to side?
Mine has the same play you're describing. I've lost track of how many thousand rounds I put through it and it has the same play as it did new. Great little gun!
