Ruger SP101.......how much?

I am looking to buy a SP101 38 special.What can I expect to pay for one?

Well, a local store got one in a couple of weeks back. It was used but you couldn't tell it by looking. Had the box and all that came with it new. It only lasted a couple of days at $425.00.

If I bought an SP101 for $200 I don't think I'd be able to sleep at night. That's just a half-step up from stealing it!

The woman that is selling it needs rent money because her husband is a loser.But,that's another story.What i'm doing is taking the pistol as collateral so in the future if she wants it back all she has to do is pay the $200 back.

I got my .38 spl SP for $350 not to long ago. It was barely used and from the first year of production and in new condition. Came with box and papers.

I just bought one from gun broker for 335. Was a first year production in good shape. I thought that was a good price. So after shipping and ffl fee it will cost me under $400. I am happy with that.

This one was made in 1990.It don't even have a cylinder ring. 8)

Yeah, $200 is a little less than they go for around here but not by much. I bought a 22lr last year for $325 and it was in a gun shop.

About 4 weeks ago I picked up a NIB 357 2.4" for $465 OTD. I was back there 2 days ago and they had a used 2.4" for $390 plus 3 NIB for $475.
