Ruger SP101 .22

Yesterday in a gun shop I handled a 4", half-lug SP101, 8-shot .22. What a sweetheart! Felt very much like my 4" Diamondback with Herrett grips on it.

I'm pretty much stocked up on .22 DA revolvers (Smiths and Colts), but if I were in the market for a new one, pretty sure this one would get the nod.

I agree, Picked up one in a trade recently, LIB, haven't shot it yet but it handles nicely and would make a good kit gun for camping.

I went to the fun store last Friday with every intention of putting one of these in layaway jail. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depends on how you look at it) there was a very nice Winchester 94 on the rack that rolled off the line the same year I did, so I took that one instead. An SP-101 .22 is still going to happen, just not for 60 days!
