Ruger Single Six with Star

My dealer has a Ruger Single Six flat top .22 LR (with only one cylinder) for sale. It has a "star" in front of the trigger gaurd and he says that make it more collectible. It is a pre-warning gun. What is the significance of the star? It has the 7 inch (?) barrel and is in pretty decent shape ( 98%). What is the value? I think he is asking $300 :?:

I think the RENE price is $530 (in collector condition). I'm guessing it has a 6 1/2" barrel. I would really like one just like it.

Star models were shipped as .22 only. That bumps the value some.

In January of 2009 I sold the same revolver that you are describing. Condition was I believe at or above 98%.

I sold it for $350 including shipping and everyone was happy.
