Hi, New guy here. Bought this new, years ago. It was to be a practice gun when I was shooting C.A.S.
Never got around to using it. Been sitting in the back of my safe. Anyone know anything about this model? Year, number made? Approx. value?
Thanks, Leonard-s

They're fairly scarce. I picked one up new in 2010 and have it valued at $650. The L means it has the internal lock and Ruger stopped making guns with that a bit later, so the L guns are actually scarcer than the non-L guns, but there were 6-8 different NR4F variations made and some are rarer than this. The fixed sight guns are less common than adjustable, and the 4-5/8" barrel is less common that 5.5" or 6.5". User "T.A. WORKMAN" has just about every New Model 4-5/8" barrel Single Six Ruger ever made, so he would be the guy to best answer specifics on quantity made, etc.
