Anyone buy one yet? Watched the review on Gunblast and seemed like a nice revolver so I had my dealer order one. Never had good luck shooting 22 mags out of the dual cylinder single six's and like the idea of a dedicated 22 mag.

Mine is due in Monday and if it warms up will give her a test run. Kind of shocked no one here has picked one up or shown any interest since this is a Ruger forum. Perhaps Ruger built a dud here with no consumer interest.

Nothing personal, as I'm sure it will be a fine revolver, but I can't think of a good reason that consumers would be excited about this offering. Except for what Toysoldier pointed out. Three more shots and no ability to shoot LRs? Then again, I don't see the apeal of a single 10 in 22lr either. Anybody know how the Single 10s are selling? I'm curious.

Revolver came in today so I can offer a quick non shooting review. Sights are OK, I prefer old style non high visibility metal sights but can comment more after a trip to the range. Surprised at the lack of creep in the trigger, dang near breaks like a glass rod. Trigger pull is about 5 to 5 1/2 pounds. Action is pretty smooth for just out of the box.

I could care less if it carries 6 or 9 rounds as that simply does not matter to me. Purpose of this revolver being a dedicated 22 mag is to make an outstanding small game revolver. Flatter shooting than the .22 LR and hits with much more impact. I have owned about a half dozen single sixes with the extra cylinder over the last 25 years or so and none of them were accurate shooting 22 mags. My personal opinion is the 22 mag is the best 22 round ever invented and I am not bothered by the cost of the ammo. Life is about choices, and we all have different opinions of different makes, models, and calibers:). My dealer picked this up from Davidsons for $430 and it's a great buy at that price.
