I've seen the stainless, and I've seen the walnut stock - maybe it's a Lipsey's special or a recent factory offering? I have the original and would prefer the walnut over the laminated.

I think it might be a Cabela's exclusive but I could be mistaken.

I agree that it looks like the Cabelas model. I think that the wood looks great but my opinion is not shared by all. The last one that I saw was going for $899. It did not last very long.

I own one with but happy with mine as is.....the lam stock....love that rifle, near tack driver....didn't know that they were available in walnut...
big fan of wood......but perfectly happy with mine

I got one from Lipseys a few months ago but I don't think its a Lipseys exclusive. I like it!
