Anyone know when Ruger is going to start producing new revolvers? I am still waiting for a Redhawk 5.5" 44 Mag and a Blackhawk 5.5" 45LC/45AP.

I bought a 5.5 Blackhawk Conv. .45 colt/acp earlier in the year. I hadn't seen any coming into Davidson's lately, but there have been a lot of other models shipping in recently. If you aren't set on buying direct locally, they are a good choice and usually have a dealer within a short drive. 8) Good luck in your hunt.

Oh, I finally found one by going to every, and I mean every, gunshop in about a 50 mile radius. Not all shops use the same dealer sources, so sometimes you can get lucky and find one available in the smaller shops. I found one here in the second smallest shop in our area, Jakes Outdoors. 8)

I was watching a video on Ruger's website, and they were talking about how they were in the process of converting the production, and modernizing. I think that it was last year they were posting it as news.

Well, in my limited experience (well over 10 of them in the Dungeon's Vault) all the guns they make are "New".

We collectors pray daily that they'd produce a wee bit more of the "OLD" guns....

I picked up a Lipsey KNR4 this week with a fired case envelope dated Aug. 10, 2010.
