In the manual that came with the rifle, in the trigger section, it says if you loosen the adjustment screw and it come out you need to call Ruger. But it does not give a reason. Does anyone know the reason?

I have a Ruger precision rimfire 22. I have had the screw out and replaced the trigger return spring with a lighter one.
No problem, I now have a nice 1.5 lb trigger.

recumbent, I do not want to take the screw out I was looking at the manual and it says that if you loosen the screw and it falls out, that you have to call Ruger. I want to know why you have to call Ruger?
