Bought a 10/22 stainless Int'l with a Mannlicher stock the other day. It was used, and missing the muzzle cap, no big deal. Called the parts dept and ordered a new cap and screw, and stressed to them it is stainless. Bout a week later I get a package, run home, get the screwdriver out to put the parts on................and they sent me a blue one. :? Called Ruger again and splained to the lady what happened and what I needed. She checked the records and it did show that I ordered stainless parts, and said she would get the right one and another screw on the way to me. I asked her about returning the blue one but she said to just keep it, it was their fault. She sounded like a nice lady, and even had a sense of humor with my hillbilly accent. Imagine that, someone admittin they made a mistake and gonna make it right! I like Ruger. (and their guns!)

I agree, they are the BEST. A while back I traded a friend out of a stainless Mk II competition target 22 pistol. He had removed the rear sight and lost it when he put a scope on it, so I emailed Ruger about a replacement sight and the filler screws for the scope base. I got a quote from Ruger for the parts, traded for the gun, then called to order the parts. The lady quoted me a lot higher price than the email had, so I told her about the other quote. She checked their email records, verified with her supervisor, and they sent me the parts at the email quoted price. Most places would have made an excuse for the lower price bein wrong and stuck me with the higher price, but they didn't. If Ruger CS ain't THE best, they're among the best.

I bought a very used mini14 from a local pawnshop that the previous owner had "refinished" the stock losing the buttplate, added a goofy scope mount and lost the rear site assembly, and somehow managed to mess the ejector up. I called Ruger to send it in for ejector work and asked if they would sell me and install the buttplate and rear site while they had it. The lady told me to send it in and they would be able to quote me a price then depending on what I needed. A month later I get a box with my mini14 with ejector fixed, completely new stock, and a new rear sight assembly all in a new mini14 box with all the paperwork, manuals, etc. All for FREE! I don't think any company can beat that for an item I didn't even purchase from them.
