Any one have info or a link as to where I can find out how to completely disassemble/reassemble the P89 Decocker-ONLY version? I got the extractor out/right side "disk" (opposite of decocker) out/ and front sight out. Decocker won't budge beyond about 1-2mm. I can't go any further. Any help would be great! Thanks,
-Scott

There's a pin on the left side of the slide in front of the decocking lever.

That pin has to come out. It's retained by the tail of the decocking spring--the flat spring in the slide.

Depress the spring with a punch and poke the pin out from the inside of the slide. Figure on it taking a few tries as the spring is quite stiff and there's not much way to get purchase on the little pin.

Yeah, that's the hardest part. A pick with a 90 degree bend makes it a lot easier to push out.

OK, I finally got it all done and put back together, HOWEVER: now the decock lever has no "spring-back" to it. It simply moves loosely up & down as I manipulate it. WTF???

The decocker spring has a long end and a short rounded one.

With the slide lying on the table sights down, the spring should be installed into the gun with the long tailed end down (toward the sights). The long end should actually poke into the recess in the decocker lever.

The shorter rounded end should be the end that the pin (discussed above) engages where the "kink" in the spring is.
