I am looking for information on Ruger Old Army Convesion Cylinders. Particularly Stainless Steel 45 caliber 7.5" Barrel and the Conversion Cylinder which is made with individual safety notches.
I am looking for help in finding out the name of the manufacturer of this particular cylinder.

I purchased this revolver at auction on GunBroker. The seller is apparently and estate auction outfit and did not have any information. Hence the cylinder is worthless to me because it has no mfg. markings.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

I believe you have a Taylor's conversion cylinder. Check their website to verify. The cylinders on the website will not have the individual safety notches as I don't believe that they are made that way anymore.

Welcome to the forum ! :)

I've never come across a conversion cylinder with safety notches like the C&B cylinder - which might be due to the possibility of the notches weakening the removable rear portion of the conversion cylinder.
