Hello,
Just got it. Works perfectly but the trigger clicks once before it actually fires as you pull it back. the click is very noticeable. it clicks upon returning to front too. It feels like something is catching or rubbing on the trigger when it goes thru it's movement. any ideas? should i send it back? i love this thing. it is a tack driver and i hate to go without it.Thanks

Well..........I just kept shooting it and put another 200+ rounds thru it and it works like a charm now. the trigger must have needed breaking/bedding in or something. I am in love with this pistol. I have had a few 22s but this has to be the best of them. it is a keeper. really like the hi-viz sights. thanks for reading

Glad to see it has smoothed out for you. Quite often a "break in" period of shooting will cause any minor spots in many actions smooth out. A firearm is a mechanical object that needs a little use to become better.

Good to hear it worked itself out. I've found they usually like a few hundred rounds down the barrel before they run smoothly. I've got about a dozen MK pistols and every one of them is accurate and reliable.

I took it apart to clean it and it is back to doing the same thing again. It looks like the back of trigger part that goes into the magazine is catching on it when you first start to pull the trigger. It doesn't do it when the magazine is removed. Kind of hard to explain. I am gonna give ruger a call monday and send it back. hate to give it up. hope their turn around is fast especially near Christmas. otherwise the pistol works great. no jams at all.

They take the week between Christmas and New Years off, FWIW. I also believe they shut down a few days before Christmas and don't open back up until a few after the New Year.

Called Ruger today. They are only off for 4 day weekend not all week. They emailed me a call tag and told me to send it today so i did.

Got it back yesterday. still a little rubbing before trigger actually fires the gun. tried another new gun in the shop and it did the same thing. ruger says they replaced my disconnector. i think this might possibly be the trouble with the trigger being 'gritty'. otherwise the gun is a tack driver and no jams with federal bulk. very pleased with my purchase .

Not hard to improve the trigger. https://www.volquartsen.com/tags/4-action-trigger-components,10-mkii-mkiii-pistols all you really need is the sear, but the better trigger is good too.
