Factory Ruger Hawkeye 256 Win Mag Barrel. Nice shape with minor blemish towards right side of muzzle. First I'll take it posted here gets it.

yes, we converted some Dan Wessons back in the mid 70s at our shop, Cleveland Bluing Co., and got written up in the American Handgunner magazine, was no big deal just wanted to see and know that it would work,,,did work even better when we became friends with Austin Behlert and he did the chambers for us, with his "vapor hone" process....wish I had kept one after all these years but hey it was just a job back then, would go good with my 2 digit Ruger Hawkeye wouldn't it,,,:cool::rolleyes:;)

I always wondered how a .256 Hawkeye revolver would shoot. Just figured nobody made one or it didn't perform well, and that was why Ruger didn't produce a .56 revolver, nor did any other company.
