Ruger grips for old model Blackhawk the same?

My 1968 old model has non factory grips and I would like to replace with some current factory ones....are the grip frames the same?

Well, I'd have to say,,, no.
You need to pull off the current grip panels,, and check the markings on the gripframe. Most likely,, it'll have; XR3-RED on one side. If so,, you need to look for a set of grips for that model. BTW; The eagles will be recessed and painted black.

I find that there are usually quite a few grips on ebay, believe it or not.
