A segment of the shotgun market ripe for the picking would be SxS & OU rifled slug guns. They could become the American Double Rifle!!! 3 1/2" slugs pushing 5,000 ft lbs would be adequate for dangerous game anywhere. Deer to Grizzly Bear. The American Safari Gun!!! I've already half assed done it with a Stoeger Condor and turkey sights!!! My son shot his first deer with it.

An O/U with Chaszel inserts makes a nice package. I would like to get a Stoeger Condor Outback or Double Defense to do it with. Chaszel inserts require a 3" chamber to make them work. I have side by side coach guns that I might try to see how the inserts work accuracy wise. They are good with the single barrel elcheapo Walmart folding 12 and 20-gauge shotguns. Here is a picture of a Hatfield single with a 19.5 inch barrel and inserts in 9mm, .357 Magnum, .45ACP and 30-30. It's a poor man's combination gun.

What I am getting from these threads is that most are happy with their Jon Boat and have no use for a Flagship. Man's got to know his limitations I guess.

The Ruger Gold Label is a gun I have coveted since it was released, I want one, just don't want to pay for one! Love my Red Labels especially at the price I paid for them back when I bought them!
