Elmer Keith used to refer to the Super Blackhawk as the Ruger Dragoon, due to the squared triggerguard.

Elmer Keith used to refer to the Super Blackhawk as the Ruger Dragoon, due to the squared triggerguard.

Elmer also did some complaining on page 321 of SIXGUNS because Bill Ruger called it the SUPER BLACK HAWK rather than the DRAGOON RUGER as Elmer wanted.
