It's definitely not as gawdy as a lot of them out there, but $1,799?
I like it.....but will have to see my banker..............$!1,000 worth if embellishments............Made contact with one of the big distributors...."none available. all spoken for by the big dealers"...........no comment of/about total production number.

Only a 750 gun scheduled build, but the example shown is SN R75 2000...Hmm?
None of my FFL can find one available.......A few on GB....................
For the 75th anniversary SR1911 pistols, the serial numbering starts at R75-2000 goes to R75-2749 or R75-2750 which allows for 751 of the model.
The Mk IV pistol shares the R75 prefix along with the 75th anniversary 10/22 models and others with the same prefix should be forthcoming.

FINALLY FOUND ONE! MADE 8 SEPARATE CONTACTS AND ONE FINALLY RECEIVED. SN R75 235X. THIS IS A MARVELOUSLY DONE FIREARM! AM SIMPLY THRILLED TO OWN. WAS VERY FAIRLY PRICED AND I DID NOY ASK WHY.........IF YOU LIKE THE RUGER 1911 YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU DO NOT OWN ONE OF THESE.............

Thanks! I could easily fall into my bad habit of getting(SEEKING) another so I would have a backup! Based upon my personal perspectives, I think this is one of Ruger's greatest builds. And there are only 750 of them............... That said, consider that I also dearly love RSSE's, 256 Hawkeyes, 357 and 44 mag Flattops, and early Number Ones...........better find my safari jacket, as the hunt is on!
